Toronto Prenatal Classes: Birthing From Within
Our classes and the typical hospital or health unit classes cover relavent but different content. While hospital prenatal classes tend to cover the logistical information about birth, we focus on giving you hands on practice to build your skill and confidence for the physical and emotional challenges of labour. In this sense our class can stand on it's own or will be a great compliment to a hospital course.
We give special attention to your partner's needs for birth preparation in every activity we do. What will your partner need to feel confident as a labour support person? How will they cope with moments of fear and how do they know when and how to advocate for you during labour? Partners very much appreciate our classes because of the attention we allot to their unique questions and experience of birth. In fact the quality of your partner's preparation can be the most influencial aspect of your ability to cope during labour.
Join us for prenatal classes in one of two beautiful lcoations; Downtown Toronto at Rosedale Wellness Centre (365 Bloor St East) and Thrive Natural Family Health at Eglinton and Yonge (110 Eglinton Ave East.) Small classes of 4-6 couples ensure a personal approach in which everyone has a chance to participate and contribute in class discussion.

Private prenatal classes for residents of Toronto are also available for $60/hr +HST.
